Prasa has been granted a court order to evict residents from the Siyahlala informal settlement after they built shacks on the railway tracks in Langa.

The move was granted by the High Court on 27 July 2021, and the illegal occupiers of PRASA land are expected to be moved to Eerste Rivier into the area indicated on the map below.
